Roni, as she is mostly known by family & friends, is a full-time mom to two rambunctious boys; a 12yr old pug and a 6th grader. She’s an RN at LBMMC, Miller’s Children and Women’s Hospital & at the City of Long Beach DHHS.
She’s passionate about helping and improving her community. She volunteered at BREATHE California of Los Angeles County, participated in the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House annual fundraisers, and continually informed her community of the City of Long Beach Food Drive and the free flu vaccine in the 7th District. She is a member of the Asthma Coalition, who champions safe and quality air for the City of Long Beach and Los Angeles County.
Roni believes in “sharing is caring,” and created over 200 handmade cards for the seniors at several skilled nursing facilities and assisted living in Long Beach, along with children in her neighborhood. During the Covid-19 pandemic, every month, she and her family also put together and delivered treat bags for many people experiencing homelessness. She also had sewn facial masks and donated them to family, friends, and work colleagues. God is very kind with His abundant blessings, and sharing & caring for others is Roni’s way of showing her gratitude; paying it forward, and spreading God’s love to all.
